On behalf of WCRM, We want to thank you for making the 7th Annual Light Up the Night 5K truly unforgettable! Because of your support, more than 200 participants came together and raised an incredible $27,668 for Western Carolina Rescue Ministries.

Light Up the Night, held on August 8, 2025, was a night filled with energy, joy, and purpose. It was inspiring to see our community unite for such a meaningful cause, and we are so grateful to have had you as a key part of making it happen.

These funds will touch the lives of every individual who comes through our doors—whether they’re seeking a hot meal, safe shelter, recovery support, clothing, or medical care.

One of the most special moments of the night was seeing members of our Mission family join in the fun. Three moms from Abba’s House ran the race, one gentleman from our Men’s Recovery Program took to the course, and several ladies from our overnight shelter walked it. Many others stood along the sidelines, cheering everyone on. For them, it was powerful to witness our community rally together—knowing that this event is helping provide the hope, resources, and relationships they need to overcome homelessness and addiction.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your support, generosity, and belief in our mission. Your partnership is making a difference that will last far beyond the finish line.
