Abba’s House is a two Phase Recovery Program. Phase one is a six-month Recovery Program focusing on the root issues around substance use and working through abuse/traumas. Once completion of recovery classes, parenting classes, etc… a graduation will take place. After graduation, the resident can decide to transition out on their own safely or remain at Abba’s House for Phase two. This is the transitional phase to help residents interview for employment, budgeting finances, getting transportation, and obtaining safe living opportunities. Overall, our program in its entirety is twelve Months if needed.
Our program is a faith-based program. Residents do not have to be Christian to be part of our program, but Biblical Principles will be implemented as a foundation in our recovery program.
Residents are required to be part of Chapel, group & individual sessions and other enrichment teachings that are geared towards their recovery.
Applicants MUST meet the following:
- 18 years of age or older, born Female (ID must be provided)
- Pregnant, post-partum or parenting a child under the age of 6 years old
- Working a plan of reunification or to remain unified with child(ren)
- No Methadone MAT, we do allow Suboxone or Subutex
- Must have a history of Substance Abuse
- Mental Health and Physical Diagnoses must be stable and not causing a threat to self or others
- Residents must be able to climb 2 large flights of stairs to live on our residential hall
- Must have a NEGATIVE COVID test or proof of vaccination in order to enter residency
